The Star Awards, an annual event, brings the largest and most popular celebrities together in a single, magical night. It is one of the most thrilling award shows in Asia and the people wait to watch it not only because of the trophies and performances but also the amazing fashion and jewellery on the red carpet. The Star Awards 2026 was by no means disappointing. As a matter of fact, the red carpet this year was one of the most sparkling that we have ever witnessed. The stars certainly excelled themselves with necklaces of sparkling diamonds all the way up to necklaces of gems of any colour and gorgeous brooches. At Dishis Designer Jewellery, we think that each jewellery moment is a story, and the stories shared on this red carpet were the most memorable. Now, we are going to delve into all the most amazing jewellery moments that made the Star Awards 2026 so unbelievably special!

1. Jesseca Liu — A Necklace That Went Down Her Back!

Everybody listens when the Best Actress of the year steps onto the red carpet. And Jesseca Liu certainly provided us with something to discuss. She was dressed in a gorgeous white low-backed dress, and down the spine of the dress was one of the glittering necklaces of Bvlgari Serpenti, which resembled pure starlight in its composition. The rest of the people wear necklaces in front, however Jesseca put it on the back of neck- it was genius! The necklace reflected the lights as she strolled, so that she seemed to have a cascade of diamonds flowing behind her. It was among those memorable times wherein the jewellery did not merely complement the outfit but was the entire act. Jesseca demonstrated that real champions are radiant in all directions.

2. Sheila Sim — Like a Shooting Star on the Red Carpet

In case you are a space-lover, a star-lover, and a cosmic-lover, the jewellery look by Sheila Sim was designed with you in mind. She was wearing a bright red Chanel outfit and had a number of high jewellery items of the Comete collection of Chanel such as the Pluie De Cometes and Cometes Harmonie rings and the Cometes Harmonie earrings all blinking with diamonds and white gold and onyx, each made with a design motif of a comet inspired by the universe. And only think a moment, and she was putting little shooting stars on her fingers and ears! The black onyx with the bright white diamond was a beautiful contrast that appeared bold and beautiful. The expression on Sheila was a reminder that good jewellery can speak volumes and her volume was written in the stars.

3. Carrie Wong — A Pop of Colour That Stole Hearts

It is not all that has to be diamonds and gold. The most beautiful jewellery moments are sometimes unforeseen colour combinations. The All-Time Favourite Artiste winner Carrie Wong wore a pink flouncy Gucci gown, a Bird on a Rock Tiffany pendant in turquoise, which provided a well-needed and eye-catching contrast to her appearance. The dark blue-green turquoise on the light pink of her dress was as though a picture were moving. It was charming, dainty, and personal–as Carrie herself. This glance was a big reminder that jewellery can be used to demonstrate who you are. You do not necessarily need to obey the rules. It is sometimes the ability to combine colours and be fearless that makes you shine the brightest.

Something special about beauty is simplicity. This is what Cynthia Koh realized during the Star Awards 2026. She had a sleek black gown and combined it with a statement collar necklace by Niessing, with a clean and bold geometric design. The necklace’s neck collar was at her neck and it framed her face in the most beautiful manner. Jewellery that is geometric, i.e. jewellery composed of shapes such as squares, circles and lines, is extremely modern and stylish. Everyone could see that you did not need a hundred pieces of jewellery to look incredible, just by the look of Cynthia. There are occasions when just one, powerful, and well-selected item is sufficient to leave you in awe. Less is more!

5. Chantalle Ng — Covered in Diamonds from Head to Wrist

Chantalle Ng seeing the Star Awards 2026 must have been a dream come true, should you be a lover of the diamonds. Chantalle had a fully jewellied look, all diamonds, courtesy of Cartier and one of the best pieces was the Pluie de Cartier, with the glittering teardrop shaped diamonds that glowed brilliantly on her gloved hand. The shape of teardrop diamonds is precisely what their name suggests, in that they are tiny sparkling teardrops, and as they are struck by the light, they glitter beautifully in the most enchanted manner. The bracelet appeared to be even more dramatic and special, a part of a royal fairy tale, as she had gloves on her. The appearance of Chantalle was evidence that where you adore diamonds, there is no excess!

6. Ya Hui — Bond Girl Energy with a Full Jewellery Suite

There are red carpet looks which make you think you are watching a movie and this is precisely what Ya Hui looked during Star Awards 2026. A black pantsuit and hat were added to this with a complete set of jewellery by the Force 10 collection of Fred Jewellery, a necklace, hoop earrings, ear cuffs, and a bracelet all in 18k white gold and diamonds. Wearing a set of jewellery that is four pieces of the same collection is known as wearing a suit and the effect is quite strong and cohesive giving you an appearance of being very polished and confident. The white gold and diamond jewelry stood out well against her all-black outfit as stars in the sky on a dark, night sky. Ya Hui appeared so strong and cool, as a real-life action hero.

7. Das DD and Tyler Ten — Men Who Wore Jewellery Boldly

Jewellery is not only female, and that was very evident in the Star Awards 2026. Some of the most discussed jewellery events of the evening were in fact those of male celebrities. Host and actor Das DD stood out in a grey suit with traditional gold jewellery in honour of his Indian heritage. It was a very special decision – he was wearing jewellery not only as a fashion accessory, but as a tribute to his heritage and culture. It was proud, warm and beautiful. In the meantime, Tyler Ten did not don a tie, but chose to wear a scarf and a Bvlgari Serpenti choker. A choker on a man is a very daring and a very courageous decision, and Tyler put it on so assuredly that it seemed perfectly natural. These two men demonstrated that jewellery is a genderless thing; it is something that is a possession of everybody who is courageous enough to put it on.

8. Romeo Tan and the Cool Power of Brooches

Sometimes the smallest piece of jewellery makes the biggest statement. Romeo Tan had two brooches on the red carpet, and was demonstrating to us all the coolness of a pin in the right place. Brooches can be considered one of the oldest forms of jewellery in the world and they are making a mass resurgence in contemporary fashion. Be it the design of the brooches in the shape of animals, flowers, stars, or the abstract design, the brooches give a creative and artistic touch in any outfit. The idea of putting two of them together because his decision was to wear them simultaneously was both fun and unexpected as well as stylish. It makes you realise that even the most traditional type of jewellery may seem new and thrilling when you wear it in a bold style.

Why the Star Awards 2026 Was a Jewellery Celebration

In retrospect, with all these amazing looks, it becomes very obvious that the Star Awards 2026 was not a mere awards show. It was a complete feast of jewellery of every kind. The red carpet, which included the trophies, was a masterpiece of artisanal opulence, and the fashion of the evening was characterized by an unprecedented show of high jewellery and glamour. Each of the celebrities who came out on that red carpet were talking with their jewels. It could be a dramatic spine-trailing necklace, a colour-rich gemstone pendant, a matching diamond suite, cultural gold jewellery, or a bold choker – each had its tale to tell.

One of the earliest forms through which humans have used to communicate is jewellery. Since the times of the old kings and queens, the appropriate jewel has always been able to make one feel something special. And that emotion does not pertain to the stars on the red carpet only. It is a part of us all.

At Dishis Designer Jewellery, we are motivated by moments like these when a gorgeous jewel into your hand makes you shine even more, feel secure in yourself and show who you really are. You have been searching for a classical diamond, a colourful gemstone or something absolutely different and personal. The right jewel is there.
The Star Awards 2026 reminded us of one stunning fact, all human beings are entitled to shine. Then go and get your jewel, put it on, and shine like a star!
