She previously stood alongside Cartier to commemorate the reopening of their flagship store at 13, rue de la Paix in Paris through her appearance in the Grain de Caf\u00e9 collection. According to Jeanne Toussaint, the 1938 collection remained unnoticed until the 1950s along with the 1960s when it reached widespread popularity at a time that appealed to Kirby’s aesthetic sensibilities.<\/span><\/p>\n
